The Operations Manager plans, organizes, directs and controls all hotel operations in order to provide quality services and products to guests and to ensure the efficiency and profitability of the business. He/She is the resource person for all departments. He/She follows up on numerous files and leads the team by monitoring results. And, most importantly, he/she is in the day-to-day operations and not locked in his/her office.

Here is what we expect from you, even if, with your experience, you should know the details of this job:
Supervise and participate daily in operational activities (restaurant, reception, banquets, sales, …) and ensure coordination between departments,
Manage financial (budgets, control of operating costs, etc.) and material resources (inventory management, supplies, negotiations with suppliers, etc.), Ensure constant quality of service,
maintenance of customer relations and satisfaction,
Recruit, hire, train, motivate and manage staff,
Ensure compliance with operating controls, policies, standards and service norms of the hotel,
Develop and implement improvement actions and other short and long term strategic objectives,
Maximize the performance and ongoing profitability of the hotel and ensure the management of financial and material resources

Ability to make sound decisions quickly,
Aptitudes for human resources management, teamwork, ability to coach and mobilize staff,
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position and significant experience in the hotel industry, ideally with a high-end product,
Understanding of administrative and budgetary activities as well as the ability to analyze operational financial data,
Excellent knowledge of local, national and international markets;
Very good computer software skills (Office Suite, Hotello, Master D, Delphi, etc.)
High availability (flexible schedule),
Bilingual in French and English both orally and in writing.
